It really brothers me
When I wear flip flops and my feet get dark and nasty with dirt.
I can't crawl into bed with them.
As a kid I hated being told to wash my feet after running around the *compound* and what not bare feet all day.
But out on my own I don't want to crawl in MY bed or walk around My room with dirty feet.

back in Ethiopian everyone's house has barriers their own entrance gates and depending on how well of you are or not you either have a big or small compound. Concrete, arranged stones, red soil or grass)

reminds me of Kenya same thing and it bothers me so much that not a lot of the houses have gates n barriers I miss the privacy :)
